Watch your appointees — Some still in looting mode

Veteran broadcaster Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has cautioned President John Mahama to remain vigilant about the people he appoints to public office

, he warned that some government officials may exploit their positions for personal gain, undermining the President’s vision.

“Mr. President, I beg you, eep your eyes open on your appointees,”KSM said.

“You may have a good heart, but many of your appointees have come from this same Ghana. They are still in the money-looting mode.”

He urged Mahama not to allow the good intentions of his government to be overshadowed by corruption from within.

“Be assured that some are still looking for a chance to activate the looting,” he cautioned.

KSM emphasized that strong leadership includes the courage to discipline one’s own team. “You can’t come into government, bleed the country, and go free. That won’t work,” he stated.

The satirist added that sustained discipline will define Mahama’s legacy; You’re doing great so far, but the one thing that will cement your place in history is showing Ghanaians that no one is above the law.”
