We are pollsters, not a pressure group – Musah Dankwah refutes accusations

Musah Dankwah, the Executive Director and Head of Global Research at Global InfoAnalytics has strongly refuted accusations of bias following the release of the firm’s post-election poll.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Dankwah dismissed the claims, asserting that the company is independent and professional in its operations.

“We are pollsters, and whether they like it or not, they should accept it. They are not going to tell us how to do our work,” Dankwah stated firmly, emphasizing that the firm’s integrity remains intact regardless of external opinions.

He made it clear that Global InfoAnalytics is not a political entity nor a pressure group.

“We are not a think tank or a pressure group; we are a company, and we are not doing anyone’s bidding. If you don’t want to listen to us, just put it in the bin,” Dankwah said, making it clear that the firm will not be swayed by political influence or external criticism.

Dankwah also addressed the accusations that the firm’s polls were inaccurate or biased, recalling how the same critics had labeled their predictions as foolish before the election results proved them correct.

“They told us we were mad, but in the end, who won? The NDC. They should learn from this,” he added, underscoring the accuracy of the firm’s work.
