We are the best of friends

Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that despite the end of her marriage to her former manager, Maxwell Mensah, the two maintain a cordial and respectful relationship centered on mutual understanding and family.

Speaking on TV3, the actress said communication between them remains steady.

“My husband and I are cool. We spoke yesterday, we speak today, and we’ll speak tomorrow,” she said, stressing that there is no hostility between them.

She explained that their separation was not driven by conflict but by honesty and exhaustion on both sides.

“We didn’t go through it like the bitter ones. I was tired, and he was tired. We sat down and said, let’s talk about it,” she said.

McBrown disclosed that their bond with extended family has also been preserved. “We meet, I go to our house, my in-laws, and everything,” she noted, describing the relationship as stable and respectful.

Reflecting on what remains most important to her, she pointed to motherhood. “If we don’t meet again, the precious thing you’ve given me is my daughter,” she said. “You can have the wealth, and I can have her, and I can live forever.”

She summed up their post-marriage dynamic simply: “We are the best of friends.”
