We deserve an update on the health of our Vice President

There are growing concerns among Ghanaians about the state of the health of the Vice President of Ghana.
Many are worried that after several weeks, the government has refused to provide an update on how she is doing after experts advised that she seek medical attention abroad.
To many, the silence from the government will give room for speculations and rumours, which must not be encouraged.
They are of the view that just as the country was briefed when she got sick, it is imperative that they know the progress and how well she is doing as the Vice President of Ghana.
A Facebook user Fred Addo in a post shared said “It’s been weeks and we don’t have any official update from government about the condition of our female Vice president“.
For him, it is worrying that after no update has been given on the female occupying the highest office in Ghana, the Chief Justice, who is the next female occupying a higher office, has been suspended, while feminists in the country are silent on the matter.
“Today the only female left at the highest hierarchy of government is removed.
Isn’t this disturbing? Feminists fo) abr3 agu Awurade,” he added.
Another user Sagmokie Tetteh expressed similar sentiments which was backed by several people in her comments section.
She said “Honestly, I think Ghanaians deserve an update on our Vice President. The silence allows room for rumour mongering. Remember how the UK kept its citizens updated on King Charles and Kate Middleton?”.
