The brain behind Kumawood, Miracle Films has appealed to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene to help them get a YouTube office in Kumasi.
The popular movie director who doubles as an actor made this suggestion after a meeting with the Ashanti Regional minister that aimed at finding out the causes of the downfall of Kumawood, and finding ways to revive it.
In his submission, Miracle Films noted that getting a YouTube office in Kumasi will help revive the Kumawood movie industry.
Miracle Films claims YouTube is one of the biggest platforms used by not only musicians but actors, actresses, and directors at large.
However, Miracle Films claims proximity is not helping them to get the best out of YouTube.
According to him, reaching out to YouTube is very complicated since conversations with them have to be done via email.
Unlike Ghana, Miracle Films claims the Nigerian Youtuber can easily badge into the YouTube office in Nigeria to complain.
