We’ll be back with a bang

Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones has released a statement following his defeat to Jonathan Tetteh, also known as Worldwide, striking a tone of respect, accountability, and determination.

In the statement shared after the bout, his team began by congratulating their opponent, acknowledging that the outcome of the fight was fairly earned.

“On behalf of Freezy Macbones and his entire team, we want to first congratulate Worldwild on his victory last night. He came to fight and earned the decision. We have nothing but respect for him and his team.”

The camp also expressed gratitude to the promoters who made the contest possible, crediting them for providing a platform and delivering a successful event.

“We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to the promoters who made this fight possible – @legacyrise_ Sports and @matchroomboxing. Thank you for giving Freezy this platform and for putting together an incredible event. Your continued support of the sport means everything.”

Attention was also given to the fans whose presence and enthusiasm helped shape the atmosphere on fight night, regardless of which boxer they supported.

“To the fans who packed the venue last night – thank you. Your energy, your passion, and your support don’t go unnoticed. Whether you were there for Freezy or for Worldwild, you created an electric atmosphere that reminded us all why we love this sport.”

While acknowledging that the result did not go in their favour, Team Freezy Macbones accepted responsibility and framed the loss as part of a broader journey rather than a defining setback.

“Last night didn’t go our way, and we own that. But this is just one chapter in Freezy’s story.”

The statement indicated that preparations for a return have already begun, with the team back in training and focused on improvement.

“We’re already back in the gym, analyzing, adjusting, and preparing for what’s next. Freezy is a fighter through and through, and setbacks only fuel his determination.”

The message concluded with a confident assurance to supporters that the team intends to come back stronger.

“We’ll be back, and we’ll be better.”

The statement ended by thanking supporters for standing with Freezy Macbones as he looks ahead to the next phase of his career.

“Thank you all for your continued support.”
