We’ll kill it—Semenyo assures Ghanaians of a win against Central African Republic

Ghana’s attacker, Antoine Semenyo has assured Ghanaians of a win against the Central African Republic.

According to him, Ghana will earn the needed three points, which will aid the West African country a smooth qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

Antoine Semenyo, who spoke in a video shared by the Ghana Football Association, said, “Tomorrow we need to win it. We will kill it, three points and qualification to the World Cup, mark my words.”

Ghana’s Black Stars will today, October 8, 2025, take on the Central African Republic in a must-win World Cup qualifier.

The Black Stars were initially scheduled to play at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, but the match will now be staged at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco.

Mauritian referee Patrice Milazare will oversee the encounter, assisted by compatriot Louis Ralph Fabien Cauvelet and Seychelles’ Shaji Padayachy. Fellow Seychellois official Noris Aaron Godfrey Arissol has been designated as the fourth official.

Senegal’s Fatou Gaye will act as referee assessor, with Morocco’s Jamal Kaouachi named match commissioner and Nigeria’s Efughu Odochi Joan assigned as security officer.

Ghana Black Stars lead their group and will need four points to secure a place for their fifth World Cup.
