Legendary Ghanaian highlife performer Daddy Lumba entertained fans in Accra over the weekend at his much-anticipated Lumba concert on Valentine’s Day.
At the ‘Valentine with Daddy Lumba’ event, which was held at the Grand Arena on February 15, 2025, music fans across the country gathered to enjoy the special occasion with Daddy Lumba.
Daddy Lumba invited rapper Sarkodie to the stage during the performance of his hit song “Anadwo Yi Dei.”
Sarkodie was very much excited with the honour that he bowed down in reverence before the highlife legend.
Daddy Lumba swiftly told the rapper to get back on his feet in response, and was later heard complimenting Sarkodie on his important contribution to Ghana’s music scene.
The two later performed ‘Anadwo Yi Dei’, the track on which Sarkodie was featured.
The night was filled with nostalgic performances, with other musicians like Ofori Amponsah, KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, Kofi Kinaata, and Adina also making appearances to the exciting concert.
Daddy Lumba at the concert thrilled the audience to a nostalgic performance with some of his classic hits such as Aben Wo Ha, Sika Asem, Theresa, Anidaso and Ohia Asomdwe.
