Coach of Palas FC, Yussif Basigi, says that although expectations are very high for the team, they are not under pressure.
He says they are calm about their game against BAYELSA QUEENS in the 𝐖𝐂𝐋 – 𝐖𝐀𝐅𝐔 𝐁 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬.
The coach indicated that he is aware of the expectations from the Ghanaian people, considering the interest in the women’s game in recent times.
“We are not under pressure, although expectations are very high. We are calm and planning as to how to go about every match. However, I know Ghanaians are expecting so much from us because this time round, they really follow women’s football, and they enjoy women’s football.
The women’s League in Ghana has been very effective with the support of the Ghana Football Association as well as all stakeholders, and based on tha,t it has given us hopes and we expect that they should count on us so that we live to expectation,” he said while addressing the press ahead of their qualifier against BAYELSA QUEENS.
