For many, the sentencing serves as a day of Independence for Asiamah who is seen as a trophy husband to the former traditionalist.
Ghanaians who have taken to social media to comment on the development believe that the young man can now breath some fresh air and will not be “harassed” by Nana Agradaa for the next fifteen years.
Some school of thought also believe that he will have unlimited access to all her assets to live a good life with other younger ladies.

Meanwhile, lawyers of Nana Agradaa believe the sentencing is too harsh and that the Judge arrived on the decision based on Nana Agradaa’s personality.
Mama Pat was sentenced to fifteen years in prison by a circuit court in Accra on July 3, 2025.
The charges stemmed from a 2022 broadcast in which she claimed to possess spiritual powers to double money — a claim that led multiple people to part with significant amounts of cash.
