NSA cautions against manual payment; announces a cashless system

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced that all payments to its staff across the country should be made through a cashless system, the Ghana.Gov.
In a statement released on February 5, the NSA said it has now transitioned to the Ghana.Gov platform.
The Suthority noted that development aligns with government’s drive to modernize revenue collection.
The statement directed all user agencies and staff across the district, regional and national levels to use the Ghana.Gov.
“Payments can be made 24/7 from anywhere in Ghana via www.ghana.gov.gh or by dialing *222# on all mobile networks.
“Payments can also be initiated from the personnel dashboard for 10% administrative charge, or via invoices sent to email of the HR/Finance Representatives of the User agencies for the 20%,” the statement said.
NSA further cautioned the public not to pay out monies manually to any of it staff.
“Henceforth, all entities must cease manual payments to any NSA staff at the district, regional and headquarters, as this method of payment is no longer valid,” NSA added.
GHANA.GOV provides a unified digital platform for accessing government services, offering a variety of seamless payment options, including:
- Bank Cards: Debit and credit cards are accepted.
- Mobile Money: Dial *222# for services.
- Online Banking: Use internet banking or bank mobile apps.
- QR Code: Scan to pay.
- Direct Transfer: Account-to-account transfer.
- SWIFT Transfers: For international payments.
- ACH Transfers: Use ACH for payments.
