Work Smart – Naa Ashorkor breaks down Worldwide’s win over Freezy Macbones

Actress and media personality Naa Ashorkor has shared her thoughts about the bout between Freezy Macbones and Jonathan Tetteh, popularly known as Worldwide, offering a technical breakdown of the fight and praising the eventual winner for his discipline and strategy.
Reacting to the contest, Naa Ashorkor said the key lesson from the fight was the importance of intelligence over brute force, stressing that Worldwide approached the bout with a clear plan and executed it effectively.
“What did I learn from yesterday’s fight? Work smart!” she stated.
According to her assessment, Worldwide’s success was rooted in precision, patience, and ring awareness rather than excessive aggression.
“Worldwide fought intelligently. His punches were well calculated and they landed clean. He used the space. He dodged well, played well and kept his eyes on the prize.”
While acknowledging Freezy Macbones’ talent and strength, Naa Ashorkor noted that his approach on the night appeared energy-draining and less efficient.
“Freezy is no doubt a really good fighter, but he appeared to be using all his energy to try to knock Worldwide out and kept failing.”
She further observed that although Freezy threw numerous punches, many of them lacked accuracy.
“Though he threw many punches, they weren’t landing clean.”
In contrast, she said Worldwide remained committed to his game plan throughout the fight, allowing him to control the pace and outcome.
“Worldwide on the other hand stuck to his strategy, wear the opponent out, dodge, land clean punches and buy time!”
Addressing criticisms surrounding moments of clinching during the bout, Naa Ashorkor dismissed them as part of boxing tactics rather than foul play.
“As for the hugging, I’ve come to learn that it’s part of the game.”
She concluded by affirming that the judges’ decision reflected what played out in the ring and expressed pride in Worldwide’s performance.
“The verdict was unanimous. Worldwide won clean. I’m so proud of him. It’s nice to see hardwork pay off.”
