You can’t be Ghanaian and oppose loot recovery – KSM fires

Veteran Ghanaian satirist and talk show host Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has expressed his frustration over Ghanaians who oppose efforts to recover stolen state funds.
Speaking on his KSM Show monitored by MyNewsGH, he questioned why anyone would resist attempts to retrieve money looted from the country.
“I can’t understand this, honestly. There are people in Ghana who are against recovering stolen funds. People have come and looted this country, and the government says, ‘Let’s recover our loot,’ yet some Ghanaians are saying no,” he said.
He argued that anyone against such efforts should reconsider their stance. “I think that if you’re against recovering stolen funds, you must not be a Ghanaian. You can’t be part of Ghana and worry that we want to retrieve our loot,” he added.
KSM also touched on a recent scandal involving a couple accused of defrauding the state. “How can two people allegedly dupe the country to that extent? Why? What allows it?” he questioned.
He further referenced reports about the National Service Scheme (NSS), where an MP was allegedly consulted to pay the media to suppress a story. “And what’s the story with the NSS? That some MP was consulted to pay the media to kill the story? These are serious issues,” he remarked.
KSM urged his audience to tune in to his upcoming show, where he promised to delve deeper into these matters. “Check me out on TikTok, where we’ll talk about all of this. See you this evening,” he concluded.
