There is pressure on the administrator of the Minerals Development Fund, Dr. Hannah Bisiw, to ensure that all 33 excavators that went missing are produced.
Franklin Cudjoe, who is the president of the policy think tank IMANI Africa, is taking none of the explanations given for the missing excavators.
In a post on Facebook, Franklin Cudjoe was shocked that the administrator of the Minerals Development Fund could not secure security personnel to watch over the excavators before the reinforcement arrived.
His opinion read “Ei, this explanation is even worse. How did the 33 excavators seen the previous day by the Administrator and her security detaiĺ just vanish in less than 24 hours? She didn’t get the Police to keep guard over the excavators? Madam bring back our excavators”.
Franklin Cudjoe’s comments come after the MDF in a statement clarified that the excavators that went missing did not go missing in the care of the police.
