Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, delivered a heartfelt speech at the wedding of his daughter, Temi Otedola, to award-winning singer Mr Eazi, offering both gratitude and fatherly advice.
Reflecting on Temi’s upbringing, Otedola gave special praise to his wife, Nana, for her sacrifices in raising their children.
“I must give credit to Nana, because when we had Temi, I was busy looking for money to look after them, and she sacrificed everything, all my bad habits, to make sure they were well looked after and spent every minute with them,”* he said.
Turning to his daughter, Otedola expressed warm wishes for her future.
“Temi, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. You found yourself a great guy from a decent family.
One thing I will advise you is to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband.
He is your husband, he is your boss, there’s no more daddy, don’t call me,” he added, drawing emotional reactions from the wedding guests.
