You’re not self made;gov’t contracts made you rich—Kpebu to Ken Agyapong

Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has challenged Kennedy Agyapong’s claims of being self-made.
According to him, the businessman became who he is because of government contracts.
To Martin Kpebu, if every Ghanaian is given the opportunity of having government contracts, everyone will be rich.
He is therefore not enthused about Kennedy Agyapong’s posturing and claims of job creation.
“He claims he is self-made, but it is a government contract that made Ken Agyapong rich. Agyapong should come and show us how he made money; he is not a self-made man as he touts himself to be. It’s a government contract. All of us can become rich when we get government contracts,” he stated.
To him, the New Patriotic Party should look beyond Kennedy Agyapong and all the other candidates who have put themselves out there to contest to lead the party.
He believes a younger candidate will serve the party better than older candidates, whom he thinks have nothing to offer.
“They should be looking at Patrick Boamah, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah. Bawumia should choose a younger Muslim and try to sell that to the party. Bawumia is not sellable. He delivered next to nothing.”
